I'm just wondering if the face needs to have a different (lighter) tint to the rest of the body... come to think of it, probably not. It's one of the more important features in a character. So that stays...

Expression - not artificial discharge of breast milk.
Happy, sad, angry, or dead tired... every face needs some sort of expression.. I have based the face from one of the many faces I've made up in the previous post. I think this could be it...

ok let's say this works, and you come up with a really good character which can express all kinds of concepts and ideas.
Are you planning to make money from it? If so, how?
Great question michaelb... At the moment I see this as a project for myself and for others who are interested in this topic.
From the beginning, the thought of using this as a money making mechanism never crossed my mind.
As I mentioned on my first post, I was bored...
In a dream world... some marvel comic guru boss person will happen across this blog and say 'hey.. this is the guy we are looking for and we'll pay him a zillion dollars for his idea and make a movie trilogy.."
One reason I asked is that I know you are on Shutterstock. LumaxArt there has made a LOT of money using his gold guy character in RF images.
Now other people are starting to do the same thing with 3D rendered images of their own characters. I don't see why a vector character wouldn't work.
Ah I see where you are getting at. Um.. no, I don't plan to sell this character as stock. I feel the need to own this vector person and possibility develop a comic strip out of this.
